IN THE NEWS...
I'm planning to run the Tatton
Park 10k Race For Life in support of Cancer Research UK on the 23rd
September.
This month marks 1 year since my
treatment ended for Testicular Cancer and I am very grateful to be
fit and healthy enough to run this year.
Just 30 years ago the survival rate
for Testicular Cancer was 30%, today it is in the high 90's. I can't
think of a better way of expressing my thanks to all of those
amazing nurses, doctors, and scientists who are contributing to the
progress in the treatment of cancers than by raising money and
awareness for charities like Cancer Research UK.
With your help last year I managed
to raise almost £3000 for the local charities that supported me
during my recovery and all I had to do was strip off and appear in
cosmopolitan magazine. I'm hoping that you will feel a generous
again this year by helping me once again with my fundraising.
